About Refurbishment of Open Plan Lounge / Diner Project Winchester Hampshire

A challenging long, narrow multi-functional room with the most glorious open views from the large expansive glazed doors.

My client had installed a new kitchen with orange glass splash-back and then got a little bit stuck for ideas on how the rest of the room would work and look.

A red brick fireplace which dominated the space was replaced with a cassette multi-fuel fire. A sofa with chaise and detachable ottoman was designed and manufactured to sit two comfortably when watching TV. A pair of orange and grey feature chairs completed the seating arrangements.

Bespoke solid oak graduated size shelves were added to the alcove and chimney breast to give much needed display space below which 3 bespoke zinc lined oak trugs on hidden castors were manufactured to store logs, coal etc
