About Refurbishment of Bijou Retirement Apartment Brockenhurst, Hampshire

A tiny retirement apartment which had no storage whatsoever. My client moved from a two bedroom cottage and had nowhere to store or display her possessions. She wanted to be able to seat 6 comfortably in the lounge and 4 at a dining table (off shot). We were able to design and build a bespoke storage wall incorporating a wall hung electric fire, TV, filing cabinet, book and display shelves. A bespoke window seat was built into the shallow bay creating more storage and seating.

The bathroom was tired and contained only a tub which we replaced with a walk in shower. Built in vanity furniture created much needed storage.

The kitchen whilst modern and recently installed was badly planned with no access to corners and very little storage. We were able to maximize the space by integrating all appliances, adding Le Mans corner management systems and integrating the sink within the solid surface worktops. A splash of colour was achieved by using a bespoke enamel splash back and roller blind.
